Jack Hornsby Electric is a family-owned and operated electrical contracting company. We have decades of experience in commercial and industrial installations.
Our No. 1 goal is complete customer satisfaction while adhering to the most rigorous standards of safety and quality. We take great pride in our employees, and we always provide services with great integrity.
Safety is an important part of the job. All supervisors have at least 10 hours of OSHA safety courses.
Jack Hornsby, started the business in the kitchen of his family’s home in 1983. His wife, Sandra, was a cosmetologist, and she earned a master electrician’s license so she could help. The children, Jill and Judy, grew up in the business and helped where they could, driving parts to the office as teenagers.
The Hornsbys worked hard, scrimped and put money back in the business so it would grow. And grow it did.
Today, Jack Hornsby Electric can point to many projects, including the Kirkland Cancer Center, Best Buy, the new City Hall, Wal-Mart South and the lighting at the Jackson Generals Ballpark.
And Jill, who is now Jill Wade, worked outside the family business after college until rejoining the company in 2001 as manager of operations.
Today, she’s the CEO, a position she took after her parents retired. She met her husband, Mark, when he joined the company as an estimator and project manager.
Jack Hornsby Electric – with decades of experience – has seen the rise of a new generation of leadership. Its philosophy, however, remains the same: providing high quality services with great integrity.
