Practicing safety is an important part of every job at Jack Hornsby Electric.
A journeyman electrician performs installations, alterations, additions and repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment. He or she can perform these tasks with little or no supervision. A journeymay electrician must also have the ability to read and accurately interpret electrical construction drawings, terminate cables, install, and trouble-shoot control wiring from schematics. The person must practice safe work habits and properly care for all tools and equipment.
Education: High school graduate or G.E.D.
Experience: Must have completed an apprenticeship program or have a minimum of six years on-the-job electrical experience.
